Crop circles of course are much more immediate and their remarkable clarity gives plenty of opportunity for detailed analysis. Perhaps earth zodiacs were once so but in this case it is the possible link to the stone circles themselves that seems to be relevant to their creation. Given the evidence that exists both for and against, it leaves much space for all kinds of speculation and the acknowledged presence of so many fake circles has severely muddied the waters. However, even if only a few are genuine, then we in the astrological world must surely take note. We need to start addressing these new possibilities concerning both the physical origins and effects of astrology. Here both the Astro-carto-graphy of the late Jim Lewis and local space astrology come to mind. Neither of these phenomena can operate in the real world without the physical effect of planetary movements impinging upon the earth in real time. Changes that are created apply not just to our psyches but also the environment that surrounds us.
What we seem to be faced with in both the crop circle phenomena and earth zodiacs is the real possibility that the earth has and is being contacted by some sort of intelligence not of this earth. Is it from extra terrestrial beings, is it divine, does it come from the earth itself or from other beings cohabiting the earth with us but possibly in a different dimension? Perhaps we in astrology have not been able to do enough to bring about necessary changes in mankind’s perceptions of his existence. Not just relative to the earth, planets and stars in this dimension but possibly other dimensions of existence occupying the same space. Perhaps the message of the crop circles is a new way of communicating with us and perhaps it is time for us to start moving up to new spiral. Either way, we surely cannot ignore them any longer.
