The earth also seems to possess a hyper-magnetic field; perhaps a similar component of the earth’s static field and it is here that the possibility could exist for the formation of ley lines, thought to be subtle magnetic meridians of the earth. These so far have been detectable only by dowsing but it is at the crossings or nodal points of these meridians that it is claimed both earth zodiacs and crop circles have occurred. Earth zodiacs however, like crop circles have manifested physically in the landscape. It is somewhat challenging, but they can be detected by careful scrutiny of aerial photographs and drawn onto ordnance survey maps which is what has been done in the case of the Glastonbury and Kingston examples.

The Moon does the same thing, disturbing the earth’s field in a major way as it moves in its orbit and what happens in the creation of crop circles seems similar but in a much more immediate and forceful way. A trilling sound is said to accompany what appears to be a powerful energy vortex that moves around to create the circle, possibly an indication of high-pressure sound resonance in the form of ultrasound. It is also reported that the effects of crop circles remain, even after the field has been harvested and re-sown. Perhaps when the land zodiacs were formed in antiquity, the same or similar events occurred and what remains, though still detectable are now possibly just remnants gradually fading away over time. The ancients clearly had some sort of response to these events, hence the building of Stonehenge and all the other stone circles on ley line nodal points.

Stonehenge

However of all of these, Stonehenge stands out. Why were the bluestones weighing 4 tonnes each transported all the way from the Presilli Mountains in Wales and the sarsen stones weighing 25-50 tonnes from the Marlborough downs, 25 miles away? How was it done and how did Neolithic people erect them with such astronomical and mathematical precision and indeed what were they for? Speculation abounds but no one really knows. However, there could be a clue. The bluestones contain iron compounds, which bleed out as rust when it rains giving the stones a reddish appearance. The local strata is limestone and chalk, non magnetic. Could the real purpose of bringing the monoliths from so far away be because containing iron they were both susceptible to magnetic influence and conductive to electrical force and if so why and were they indeed built under some sort of direction?
